Project: e-Test - Seamless Online Test Platform

  1. Problem Statement:

Conventional test processes are time-consuming, prone to errors, and often lack flexibility. Candidates struggle with scheduling tests, while employers face challenges in managing test logistics and evaluating results efficiently. e-Test aims to revolutionize this process by offering a streamlined and user-friendly online assessment platform.

  1. Target and Solution Goals: Target Audience:

  • Candidates: Job applicants, students, and professionals taking assessments as part of recruitment processes or educational requirements.

  • Employers/Administrators: HR managers, recruiters, and educational institutions conducting assessments for candidate evaluation.

  1. Solution Goals:

  • For Candidates: e-Test will provide a convenient platform for candidates to take assessments remotely, eliminating the need for physical presence. It will offer a user-friendly interface, clear instructions, and a smooth test-taking experience.

  • For Employers/Administrators: e-Test will simplify test creation, scheduling, and result analysis. It will offer tools to customize assessments, manage candidate lists, and generate insightful reports.

  1. Pain Point Analysis:

  • Candidates: Traditional assessment methods require candidates to travel to test centers, causing inconvenience and scheduling conflicts. Complex instructions and unclear assessment interfaces often lead to anxiety and reduced performance.

  • Employers/Administrators: Managing physical test centers, coordinating schedules, and manually evaluating test papers can be time-intensive and error-prone. Lack of real-time analytics hampers timely decision-making.

  1. User Flow:

  • Candidate User Flow: After registration, candidates can browse available assessments, select desired tests, and schedule test sessions at their convenience. On the test day, they log in, follow clear instructions, and complete assessments. Instant results are provided upon completion.

  • Employer/Admin User Flow: Employers/admins log in, create new assessments or select predefined ones, set parameters, and schedule assessments. They can monitor real-time progress, view candidate performance, and access detailed reports.

  1. Hi-Fi:

The hi-fi design phase involves creating polished interfaces for both candidates and employers. The candidate interface showcases a clean and intuitive layout for test selection and navigation. The admin interface offers tools for assessment creation, scheduling, and result analysis.
